The Villa Rica Parks & Recreation Department and Kiss102.7 invite you to the 3rd annual “Fireworks at the V-Plex” Celebration – This Thursday, July 3rd. Join us for an evening of free family fun! Things get started with our live broadcast, which begins at 4. You’ll see sky divers bring in “Old Glory”, they’ll have a tethered hot air balloon, live music from Watusi Rodeo, “No Joes” Clown Circus, inflatables for the kids, plus displays from area businesses and lots of different food and drink available for purchase. It all leads up to the area’s largest fireworks display at dark. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and come out early, starting at 4 and experience a full afternoon and evening of patriotic, family entertainment. And, the best part is that admission is FREE!! Kiss102.7 invites you to tune in Friday night for a 4th of July tradition, the annual Sounds of Liberty concert with the Carroll Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Terry Lowery. The concert is free, and will be held at a new location - on the grounds of Carrollton Elementary School. So, bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy a program of patriotic music by American composers that leads up to the big Carrollton fireworks display. And if you can’t make it in person, we’ll have the concert live beginning at 8:30 here on Kiss102.7. The Sounds of Liberty concert is made possible by the following:
